Initially offered during the second annual Life Settlement Awareness Month™ in June 2007, Life Settlement Solutions’ continuing-education course is one of the first educational courses certified in all 50 states for life insurance licensing continuing education credits. The course, which can be worth up to eight credit hours of life insurance licensing, covers all aspects of life settlements and offers participants a better understanding of the ins and outs of the secondary market. Topics covered include the basics of life settlements, the transaction process, and how to work with brokers and providers. Participants can also expect to learn about investment benefits associated with life settlements, client eligibility requirements and relevant case studies detailing when life-settlement transactions are appropriate.
